Slow As Christmas 2015

Tuesday, January 5, 2016

Christmas! All year long Graham has to listen to me say, "OMG- you're as slow as Christmas!" I used that phrase once a few weeks back and a sly grin crept up on his face. It was nearing faster than ever.
I enjoy putting up a tree each year, traveling to parties where ugly sweaters are worn, caroling (in my softest voice) inside nursing homes, putting hot chocolate in my mug with an accompaniment of peppermint. The knowledge of family, warmth and presents can undoubtedly bring a smile to my face. Watching or reading of the birth of Christ brings me peace. I have always adored the days leading up to Christmastime, in my times of greatest aggravation I think of cold morning looking forward to Santa and nativities.
I'm sad that time is already over. But while it was here, boy did I have fun!

There is nothing I love more than to see Graham with a baby. It makes my ovaries ache.
