Saturday he chose to go to a Animal Kingdom at Disney World.. As always, we had a blast and decided to try something new by visiting the intriguing Blue Man Group that night. We weren't able to purchase tickets until 20 minutes before, and still were able to get cheap seats right in the front. We stayed out until the wee hours of the night!
I've been planning a party for Graham for the last few days. Originally he knew about it but I kind of fibbed my way into telling him people we're so busy watching the Super Bowl that no one was available last minute. Well that was only half true, as plenty of people said they would be there. If you know me, I get crazily strung out trying make my vision known. Luckily, things went smooth as can be! He actually had a rough beginning to his birthday, he had to stay several hours after church helping with a project, and once he finally did make it home I shoved him out the door and he assumed from this that his friends were planning something for him. When he realized that was not the case he was utterly bummed that no one cared to see him or even wish him a 'happy birthday.' What he didn't know was that our home was filled with his family, my family and several of our friends. By the time he made it back home, he was welcomed by a chorus of surprises! He was so happy to see all of the people present. And I thought my heart was about to burst when he admired everything and knew it was just for him.
To my birthday boy: I love you so much more than I can ever say Graham. I am so grateful to be married to you. I hope you had a wonderful birthday :)
Disclaimer: Most photos were taken after the party, so ignore the meager amounts in pictures. |
To everyone who came: you're greatly appreciated! Thank you from Graham, but a special thank you from me for making his party a huge success! Special shoutout to my parents and siblings for helping keep me sane and following my orders as we prepared! (Y'all my father stood on a can of tomato paste from my food storage for an hour to be able to tape balloons to my ceiling, hahaha.) I am so glad we were able to gather in honor of Graham! I hope everyone had as much fun as he did :)
HAPPY 27TH, GRAHAM!
